On her debut album Heavenly Bodies, Scottish singer/songwriter Alex Amor explores what she calls "love, loss and liminal spaces", crafting a sound that sits somewhere between Kacey Musgraves' Golden Hour and Clairo's Sling. Informed by meditation, rune reading and the philosophies of Swedish mystic Hilma af Klint, the album traces a path through grief, transformation and self-discovery with remarkable clarity and grace. From the elegiac 'Meet On The Moon' and 'Roses' to the radiant 'Icarus' and expansive centrepiece 'Inside', Heavenly Bodies is a rich, reflective debut that finds Amor turning inward to make sense of life's constant cycles of change.
